Ica not only continues to be the most producing region of table grapes in Peru, it is also the most exporting region, leading with 17.9% of total shipments and obtaining 324 million 64 thousand dollars. As a second achievement, it represented 24.8% of all non-traditional shipments.

Piura, achieved shipments of table grapes until October for an amount of 128 million 796 thousand dollars, growing by 16.6% compared to last year. On the other hand, Lambayeque did not enjoy the same luck since its profits decreased by 2.4%, achieving only 24 million 77 thousand dollars.

But the region most affected of all was La Libertad, which until October 2020 had a 16.3% drop, which caused it to only get 17 million 51 thousand dollars.

One of the solutions proposed by ADEX is to obtain new markets to promote the internationalization of Peruvian table grapes. However, the agrarian demonstrations have posed a greater danger since each day of unemployment prevented the exit of 200 agricultural containers that represent about 10 million dollars per day.
